Koveshnikova O. Creativity of A. V. Dobrovolsky in the context of the development of the architecture of Ukraine 1930–1980s

As a result of the study, the work of A.V. Dobrovolsky was first comprehensively considered in the context of the development of the architecture of Ukraine in the 1930-1980s. The stages of its professional formation, the main areas of activity, and the peculiarities of design solutions were determined. The main trends in the development of architecture of Ukraine 1930-1980 are traced, in the light of which the author's implementations of the master in the architectural practice of this period are analyzed. The versatility of the architect's creative personality, which manifested itself in his design, pedagogical, visual, organizational activities, is revealed. A list of the architect's works was compiled, and drawings from archival collections were attributed. The exceptional importance of the activities of A.V. Dobrovolsky in the development of the architecture of Ukraine was proved and the prospect of further studies of his heritage was proposed.
