This thesis is the comprehensive comparative legal analysis of the contract for the rental (leasing) of immovable property in the civil law of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, France and the German Federal Republic. This work is the first one of its kind conducted in Ukraine. It aims to develop new scientific provisions and proposals to improve legal regulation of the relevant public relations in Ukraine. This study researches factors that in historical retrospective contributed to the formation of legal ideas about the contract for the rental (leasing) of immovable property in Ukraine, the Russian Federation, France and the German Federal Republic. It defines the concept and types of the contract for the rental (leasing) of immovable property in the modern civil law of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, France and the German Federal Republic. It determines the peculiarities of content of the contract for the rental (leasing) of immovable property in the modern civil law of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, France and the German Federal Republic. It presents the specifics of the conclusion, change and termination of the contract for the rental (leasing) of immovable property in the modern civil law of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, France and the German Federal Republic. It defines the characteristics of certain types of contract for the rental (leasing) of immovable property in the modern civil law of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, France and the German Federal Republic. It formulates theoretical basis for improving the legal regulation of relations arising from the contract for the rental (leasing) of immovable property in Ukraine.
