The dissertation is devoted to research of theoretical bases and substantiation of practical recommendations on improvement of activity of the enterprises of the state sector of economy in the stock market of Ukraine. An analysis of scientific views on the essence of the public sector of the economy, its structure. The place and role of the enterprises of the state sector of economy on the modern stock market are determined. Their key differences from other participants are highlighted. The peculiarities of the financial strategy of the enterprises of the state sector of economy are highlighted. The role of the capital market in the functioning of the enterprises of the state sector of economy is described. Methodological approaches to assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of financial activities of business entities of the enterprises of the state sector of economy are analyzed. The practice of raising capital of the enterprises of the state sector of economy on the stock market of Ukraine is studied and the peculiarities of their dividend policy are determined. The current priorities of the enterprises of the state sector of economy in the segment of debt financial instruments are determined. The financial strategy of the enterprises of the state sector of economy as an important component of their corporate strategy is analyzed. The key priorities of financial activity of the enterprises of the state sector of economy in Ukraine are highlighted. Ways to improve the issuance strategy of the enterprises of the state sector of economy in Ukraine on the stock market are outlined. Methodological approaches to the selection of criteria for evaluating the results of financial performance of public sector enterprises of the economy have been improved. Proposals on the directions of activation of the enterprises of the state sector of economy on the stock market of Ukraine are formulated. The directions of increase of investment attractiveness of financial instruments of the enterprises of the state sector of economy, and also bases of improvement of corporate financial management of such subjects of business are offered.
