Lysenko V. State policy in the field of urban planning

The dissertation specifies the content of the concept of urban planning; the historical and legal aspect of formation of town-planning activity in Ukraine is considered, the aspects of introduction of regulatory policy in this sphere are specified. The paper reveals general approaches to the implementation of spatial planning at all levels; features of development of the General plan of the settlement are revealed; the order of zoning of settlements is specified. The author of the dissertation singles out modern tendencies and priority directions of state and self – government control in the field of urban planning. Ways to improve public control in the field of urban planning are proposed. The possibility of introducing foreign experience in the field of urban planning is considered. The directions of development of the state policy of quality assurance in the field of town – planning are offered.
