The dissertation work, which is an independent completed scientific work, comprehensively examines the responsibility of business entities for the safety of non-food products in the context of the implementation of the association agreement between Ukraine and the EU. The dissertation is devoted to the study of theoretical and practical problems of establishing the degree of economic and legal responsibility of economic entities for non-compliance with the safety of non-food products during the implementation of the norms of the association agreement between Ukraine and the EU in the current Ukrainian legislation. The thesis considers the historical development and legal support of regulation of safety and quality of non-food products, in particular, the formation and development of a system of uniform safety requirements for products and conformity assessment procedures in Ukraine. The paper defines legal means of ensuring the safety of non-food products in international and European legislation. Product Safety is defined as an object of economic and Legal Regulation. The grounds, conditions and forms of responsibility of business entities for the safety of non-food products are clarified, as well as transformational changes in Ukrainian legislation on economic and legal responsibility for Product Safety are investigated, taking into account the association agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
