Essay

The research explores and summarizes key approaches to analyzing and addressing an issue of talent among economists. Talent among future economists is understood to be a complex cohesion of cross-functional psychological systems, which include various aspects of the development of motivation, creativity, activity, identity, personality, involved into functioning within a human-economics relations domain. High, moderate and low talent levels were identified in the pool of future economists. Components of talent were also explored, in particular, overall personal talent of economics students was reflected in their pursuit of self-actualization. The motivational talent of economics students demonstrated high level of motivational metrics. Creative talent among students was associated with a high level of creativity and intellectual fluency. Students of economics that demonstrated organizational and operational talent had, inter alia, effective social and organizational skills. The thesis also covers methodological guidance on implementation of special training that helps bolster future entrepreneurial skills, ability to master latest economic technologies and generally become more successful in business and economy.
