The thesis is devoted to the study of liability in bankruptcy proceedings. The concepts and signs of liability in bankruptcy proceedings are described. It is proposed to define liability in bankruptcy proceedings as a complex legal institution that regulates the negative consequences of property and/or procedural nature, which are applied by a court or other authorized body to individuals and legal entities guilty of violating insolvency law (bankruptcy). The grounds and functions of liability in bankruptcy proceedings are revealed. The legal basis of liability in bankruptcy proceedings is described. The subjects of liability in bankruptcy proceedings have been studied. The division of liability in bankruptcy proceedings into material and procedural is proposed. Classification of liability in the bankruptcy procedure by nature (content) and by the subject of liability is proposed. Certain types of liability in bankruptcy proceedings are described.
