The dissertation is devoted to the development of theoretical provisions and practical recommendations on the concept of liability in economic legal proceedings. The paper describes the main theoretical and methodological foundations of liability in economic legal proceedings. The stages of the evolution of responsibility are singled out, the definition of the concept of economic and procedural responsibility, the concept of the institute of economic and procedural responsibility are refined, the economic and procedural responsibility as an instrument of justice is considered. The types of liability and means of its application in economic legal proceedings are analyzed and their classification is carried out. The provisions on legal and factual grounds of liability are argued. The peculiarities of the procedural offense as a basis for liability have been clarified.
