The dissertation is focused on the analysis of the shareholders’ agreement as a form of self-regulation of corporate relations in joint-stock companies. The author has determined the legal nature of the shareholders’ agreement and its place in the system of treaty-made law of Ukraine. The expediency of distinguishing the categories of «shareholders’ agreement» with the concepts of «corporate agreement» and «agreement between shareholders» has been substantiated.
