Romanivka Z. . Tools and means of committing a crime under the criminal law of Ukraine.

The dissertation contains a theoretical generalization and offers new solutions to the scientific problem of a modern comprehensive scientifically sound understanding of the nature of the criminal law and mechanisms of accounting for tools and means of committing a crime in the law and law enforcement practice of Ukraine. The paper proves that despite the presence of 30 articles in the Criminal Code, in which the tools or means of committing the relevant crimes are constitutive features, there is no systematic use of them in criminal law. The legislator's approach to the textual consolidation of the same features, as well as to the choice of the corpus delicti in which they are enshrined and to their influence on the punishment of individual crimes, is chaotic. Given the above, the tools and means of committing a crime as criminal law categories have been subjected to a detailed scientific analysis.
