The thesis considers the complex study of crime prevention in the activity of credit unions in Ukraine. For the first time, the scientific task of developing a holistic approach to the concept of crime prevention in the activity of credit unions was set and solved. It provided an opportunity to substantiate proposals aimed at improving the legislation and practice of its implementation by the authorized financial entities of Ukraine. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the research on the concept of financial services provision and the legal status of credit unions as a subject of financial authority have been determined. The genesis of legislation to prevent breach of financial services in credit unions in Ukraine has been clarified. The main groups of crimes committed in the sphere of credit unions are identified. The structure and dynamics of such crimes are described. There has been further development of the criminal liability substantiation of the subjects of financial services violation in the activity of credit unions. The content of determinants contributing to the criminalization of this sphere of public relations is revealed. The conceptual vision of ways of realization of criminological measures of protection of the order of provision of financial services to credit unions, as well as measures of prevention at the special criminological level is offered. Directions of interaction of subjects of prevention of violation of the order of provision of financial services in activity of credit unions are offered.
