Tanriverdiev K. Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings against People's Deputies of Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to the complex research of theoretical and practical problems of pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings against People's Deputies of Ukraine, taking into account the normative provisions of the current criminal procedural legislation and the theory of criminal procedural law of Ukraine. The genesis of scientific research and legislative regulation of pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings against persons enjoying immunity has been covered. The description of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine as a subject of criminal procedural activity has been given. The analysis of the international legal experience of regulation of criminal procedural activity concerning persons enjoying immunity has been carried out. The beginning of the pre-trial investigation in this category of criminal proceedings has been clarified, the procedural procedure for notifying such persons of suspicion and the procedure for the application of measures to ensure criminal proceedings against them have been established. The framework of conducting investigative (search) actions have been established and the peculiarities of conducting covert investigative (search) actions against People's Deputies of Ukraine have been highlighted.
