Andreichuk V. Information technology for forecasting in the system of national security

The dissertation generalizes scientific and theoretical principles, defines the directions and makes the corresponding offers for the use of information technology for forecasting (ITF) in the system of national security (SNS) in order to improve the efficiency of national security management. The content of the concept of «information technology for forecasting» is specified, the definition of such basic concepts as «information technology for forecasting in the system of national security» and «information technology for forecasting in the system of public administration» is offered. Theoretical and methodological provisions for the use of ITF in SNS are determined. It is noted that the urgent task in public administration of national security is the combination of classical forecasting technologies with modern information technologies, which will increase efficiency in this area. The organizational, legal and institutional principles of using ITF as components of the SNS of Ukraine are analyzed.
