Object - political institutions in a democratic society; purpose - to determine the peculiarities of the formation and development of the institute of political expertise in modern Ukraine; methods - systemic, structural-functional, behavioral; scientific novelty - a comprehensive study of the concept, essence, prospects for the development of political expertise in Ukraine, as well as its role in the political process, the proposed socio-professional structure of the space of political expertise, identified reasons for the mass profession of political expert; results - can be used in the practice of public authorities related to the issues of expert support of the political decision-making process, in the educational process of higher education institutions, in particular in courses in political science, public administration, political communication, etc.
