The dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive study of the problems of evaluating individual sources of evidence in the criminal process of Ukraine. The state of research into problems of evaluating evidence in criminal proceedings is disclosed. It is determined that the requirements imposed on the sources of evidence constitute important guarantees for the reliable establishment of the circumstances to be proved, the justification of the decisions taken.
