This PhD thesis is devoted to the development of modern approaches to forecasting the operation of gas pipelines in terms of both full and unstable loading of the gas transmission system of our country, which includes a detailed analysis of the gas transmission system as a whole and finding the most effective ways to improve its energy efficiency and reliability. The main idea of the work is to establish patterns of influence of physical and mechanical characteristics of natural gas on the nature of technological processes in gas networks and, accordingly, to calculate the energy efficiency of the gas transmission system as a whole.
