The dissertation is devoted to research of actual problems of creation of author's collections of actual clothes and accessories and advancement of own brand in the fashion-market. The analysis and regularities of development of the world fashion industry of the beginning of the XXI century are carried out. It is determined that in the highest price category, deluxe clothing is actively in demand; the basics of the methodology of creating clothing collections of the luxury segment are investigated.
