Zaloznyi R. Forensic characteristics and investigation of robberies committed against drivers of motor vehicles

The dissertation deals with the complex research of legal, theoretical and organizational-tactical bases of criminalistics maintenance of investigation of robberies committed against drivers of motor vehicles, considering normative provisions of the current criminal procedural legislation. The characteristics of robberies committed against drivers of motor vehicles are given and the structure of forensic characteristics is developed, in particular the subject of criminal encroachment and methods, situation, trace picture and typology of persons committing such crimes are outlined. The problematic aspects of detection and initiation of pre-trial investigation of criminal proceedings on robberies committed against drivers of motor vehicles are investigated. Typical investigative situations and main directions of investigation are singled out. Possibilities of interaction of the investigator with officer of operative divisions and other bodies in the course of investigation are defined. The peculiarities of tactical and forensic support of investigative (search) actions and covert investigative (search) actions during the investigation of robberies committed against drivers of motor vehicles are revealed; the forms of use of special knowledge under such conditions are analyzed.
