Essay

The object is optical radiation that accompanies the action on the processed objects by an electron beam during radiation processes and tests. The goal is to determine the physical nature and patterns of optical radiation that accompanies the action of accelerated electrons on technical materials, as well as thermal radiation of material samples in the process of their radiation tests. Methods: mathematical physics, geometric optics, digital image processing. Results: analytical expressions are obtained to describe the mechanisms of radiation, as well as the conditions of application of the cathodoluminescent signal for the diagnosis of radiation treatment mode of technical dielectric materials; on-line control method of the flux density distribution of the of high-energy electrons and absorbed dose rate on the surface of the treated object has been developed.
