Liashuk A. Language as a Means of Law Expression.

The dissertation carried out a complex research of the language of the law as a boundary phenomenon of the legal science on three levels: communicative, iconic-symbolic, and conceptual ones, taking into account the peculiarities of its functioning in the modern society. Having studied the foreign and domestic approach to dealing with the problems of the language of law we suggest our interdisciplinary research methodology. The pluralism of methods allows conducting a diverse study of the language of the law, taking into account its formation, development, and conditionality by the social and cultural processes. It has been proved that the language of the law is a specific phenomenon, which due to its dynamics reflects changes in the legal consciousness of the citizen, exposing to globalization, urbanization, industrialization, social standardization, and stratification. These social and cultural processes are inseparable and depend on the level of the development of a separate society.
