Tustanovskyi Y. The Development of Financial Institutions in Ukraine

In the dissertation the theoretical generalization and the new solution of the important scientific problem, which connected with the substantiation of the theoretical and methodological principles and development of the methodical recommendations for the ensuring of the regulated development of financial institutions in Ukraine were made. The essence and functions of financial institutions were revealed. The types of financial institutions and features of their functioning on the financial market were investigated. The branch specifics of the development of financial institutions were defined. The preconditions and consequences of the development of financial institutions on micro-, meso-, macro-, meta- and mega-levels were substantiated. The concept of the risk of unregulated development of financial institutions was determined. The empirical studies of the development of financial institutions in Ukraine had been conducted and five stages of their development have been identified. Current trends of the development of banking institutions in Ukraine were analyzed. The features of the development of non-bank financial institutions were investigated. The problems of the development of financial institutions, that are common to the all financial institutions and the specific problems for each segment of the financial market were highlighted. The approaches to the reforming of the institutional support of the regulated development of financial institutions in Ukraine were proposed. The concept of the formation of the system of protection of the rights of financial service consumers in Ukraine was substantiated. The methodical approach to the analysis and evaluation of the development of financial institutions in Ukraine was suggested.
