Yevtushenko M. Financial diagnostics at the value-based management of corporate enterprises

The thesis is dedicated to the complex research of theoretical and practical aspects of financial diagnostics in cost – oriented management of corporate enterprises. The conceptual apparatus of financial diagnostics is specified and its role in the enterprise management system is determined. Financial diagnostics is considered as a complex of business processes in which the primary information received at the input is transformed into the final result at the output – the formation of proposals for management decisions, the objects of which are following: external environment (threats and opportunities), internal environment (strong and weak points), financial condition, cost indicators, cost factors, risks of enterprises value loss, the capacity for value growth, its stability, forecasting value based on a cash flow. The identification of financial diagnostics objects is developed, which is represented by “instantaneous” value (discrete cost-value and property assessment of corporate enterprises at any given time) and “interval” value (continuous assessment of income, expenses, financial results for a given period of time). The advantage of the proposed approach is the ability to assess the capacity for intrinsic value formation by types of activity of corporate enterprises, types of value and factors (financial capital multiplier, profitability, and capital turnover).
