Chelpan O. Criminological characteristics and prevention of damage to roads and vehicles

The dissertation is one of the first complex monographic researches in which with use of modern methods of knowledge, the system of measures of prevention of damage of roads and vehicles as a result of which a number of innovative positions, conclusions and offers which can serve further development of state policy in the field of transport safety is developed, improvement in this area of legislation and law enforcement practice. The paper presents criminal law and criminological characteristics of damage to roads and transport measures. The determinants that contribute to the commission of the investigated crimes are systematized, their long-term criminological analysis is carried out, the most important of them are determined, which cause and contribute to the commission of crimes of this category. Elements of criminological characteristics of persons damaging roads and vehicles are revealed. Taking into account the criteria of prognostic assessment of changes in the tendencies of damage to roads and vehicles, the main directions of prevention of damage to roads and vehicles by the National Police have been developed.
