Benchak O. Sociological dimensions of borders and cross border interactions.

The dissertation presents the results of the study of borders and cross-border interactions. The relevant concept-categorical apparatus with the author's definition of the main row forming (border) and derivatives (cross-border interaction, cross-border mobility, cross-border cooperation) are offered. It is argued that cross-border interactions that are localized on the intergovernmental border and border are institutional, socio-economic and socio-cultural dimensions. The paper constructed the analytical and methodical tools of sociological evaluation of the effectiveness of social management of transboundary interactions. The author's program of sociological study of cross-border interactions with attention to institutional, socio-economic and socio-cultural aspects of these phenomena in the unity of its methodological and methodological parts is proposed, which it is expedient to use in the empirical study of the problems of borders and cross-border interactions in various sections of the border of Ukraine and studies related problems. The results and methods of dissertation can be used to develop and improve state and public projects, programs aimed at optimizing social management of cross-border cooperation; In planning and conducting sociological monitoring of transboundary interactions at the borders of Ukraine. The results may be needed to develop and teach educational disciplines: "Sociology of Policy", "Sociology of International Relations", "Sociology of Migration", "Sociology of Globalization", etc.
