The dissertation is devoted to the decision of problem of substantiation of theoretical-methodical and applied bases of formation and introduction of mechanisms, systems and tools of management of innovation-investment potential of competitiveness of subjects of agrarian business. The essence and significance of competitiveness potential as an object of management in the activity of agrarian business entities are identified. The characteristics of innovation and investment components of the competitiveness potential of the agrarian business are determined. Methodological approaches and methods for assessing the innovation and investment potential of the competitiveness of agribusiness entities have been developed and tested. The priority directions of formation of competitive advantages of subjects of agrarian business are substantiated. The peculiarities of the influence of the main factors of competitiveness of agrarian business subjects are formalized. The relationship between innovation and investment activities and competitive strategies of agricultural enterprises has been established. The object structure, functional purpose and instrumental content of the mechanism of management of innovation and investment potential of competitiveness are determined. The architecture of the mechanism of managing the potential of competitiveness in the innovation and investment development of agricultural businesses is substantiated. Priority competitive strategies of agrarian business entities have been identified. The architecture of the mechanism of management of innovation and investment potential of competitiveness of agrarian business subjects is substantiated, which is based on a combination of management tools with separate means, procedures and functions of ensuring progressive and competitive development in the context of achieving the latter's goals. agribusiness tools for diagnosing the potential of competitiveness on the basis of identifying its internal and external components, as well as streamlining the choice of strategic alternatives for the development and generation and implementation of appropriate competitive strategies. The importance of innovation and investment tools in generating and implementing competitive strategies of the enterprise, which are based on the creation and implementation of sustainable competitive advantages through the introduction of industrial, commercial and managerial innovations, focusing investment activities on their implementation and investing resources in cost reduction and increase projects. results of production and sales of enterprise products. The identification of priority areas of innovation and investment activities of agricultural businesses by formalizing its focus on increasing the level of competitiveness of enterprises-producers and their products, which allowed to outline the following areas: increasing production volumes; full realization of biological potential of agricultural plants and animals in production conditions; improvement of soil condition, development of social infrastructure; intensification of involvement of integration tools. A scientific interpretation of the content of the definition of "competitive advantage", which should be considered through the prism of the competitive potential of the enterprise in certain conditions of market positioning of its products and defined as a set of features and properties of the product that allows it to achieve comparable to competitors or larger than competitors, economic results of production and sales. The assessment of environmental factors of agribusiness entities on the processes of creation and implementation of competitive advantages, which consist in identifying the content, forms and intensity of influence of factors that determine the production of competitive advantages, namely: the level of state support for agricultural producers; structural and dynamic trends in demand for agricultural products; level, intensity and conditions of competition; the impact of related product and resource markets on the efficiency of agricultural businesses.
