Essay

The research object was structural and functional state of the central nervous system of spontaneously hypertensive SHR rats with various forms of dyscirculatory encephalopathy before and after rhythmic craniocerebral hypothermia, introduction of cryopreserved nucleated cord blood cells and their combined application. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of rhythmic craniocerebral hypothermia, cryopreserved nucleated human cord blood cells and their combined application on structural and functional state of the central nervous system in rats in various forms of dyscirculatory encephalopathy. Research methods were as follows: cryobiological, cryomedical, electrophysiological, physiological, histological, morphometric, biochemical, spectrophotometric and statistical analysis of the obtained data. For the first time, it has been shown that in rats with hypertensive and mixed forms of dyscirculatory encephalopathy, the use of rhythmic craniocerebral hy[pothermia, cryopreserved nucleated human cord blood cells and their combination has led to a reduced brain ischemia, increased antioxidant protection of brain tissues, contributed to a decreased blood pressure, and also resulted in a ignificant improvement of cognitive effects in animals.
