Uevych S. Transformation of landscapes of Volyn region under the influence of educational melioration

In the dissertation the theoretical and methodological foundations of structural and geographical study of landscape transformation of Volyn region under the influence of drainage land reclamation are revealed. Analysis of geological and geomorphological conditions, climatic factors, distribution of surface and groundwater, soil composition, which influence the formation of natural landscapes of Volyn region. Described the flora and fauna of the region. Assessed the natural complexes and landscapes of Volyn Polissya that have undergone transformation as a result of reclamation activities. It is investigated that large-scale drainage works have led to the intensification of the use of natural resources of the Volyn region, which in large areas has caused a decrease in the ecological sustainability of ecosystems. It is also shown that in general the study of problems of soil transformation under the action of drainage reclamation for Volyn region is extremely relevant. Natural-anthropogenic landscape-transformed resources of Volyn region have been investigated. The physical and geographical conditions that influence the formation of the natural landscapes of Volyn region and are factors of the transformation processes are evaluated. A retrospective review of the implementation of reclamation works in the territory of Volyn region during the stay of the region in different states. The present state of landscape resources and the degree of anthropogenic transformation of the territory occupied by a certain type of nature management are analyzed. The map diagrams are drawn up and histograms of transformation depth coefficients are constructed. The mathematical model of estimation of degree of transformation of an agricultural landscaping under the influence of reclamation works is developed. Constructed vertical tree of clustering estimation of the degree of soil transformation under the influence of drainage reclamation. The ecologically acceptable level of land reclamation development has been determined. Prospects and problems of rational use of natural resources transformed by drainage reclamation have been determined. The directions of balanced use of natural resources of the region are substantiated. Measures to optimize the spatial and functional structure of territories and land reclamation facilities are proposed. Directions were developed to improve the system of landscaping formed during the drainage process.
