The dissertation is devoted to solving the urgent problem of clinical urology - to improve the results of transvesical prostatectomy in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), infected with sexually transmitted pathogens (STP), using the method of substantiation, development and clinical application of etiotropic prevention of early postoperative complications. Examination of both genital excreta and removed prostate tissue in the specified cohort of patients for detection of ST- pathogens is substantiated. Patients with acute urinary retention should be examined for the Trtichomonas vaginalis by cultural method to improve the detection of the specified pathogen.
