Cherniuk V. I. Legal regulation of the intellectual property of science parks. – Qualifying scientific paper as a manuscript. Thesis for the degree of Сandidate of Juridical Science (Doctor of Philosophy) in the specialty 12.00.03 – civil law and civil process; family law; private international law (081- Law). – Scientific-research Institute of Intellectual Property, National Academy of Law Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2021. The importance of the research centers around the need to clearly identify the legal mechanisms for regulating intellectual property rights in science parks. These mechanisms are being created in Ukraine in the form of financial and economic models to facilitate business activity by their founders: state-financed higher education institutions and scientific institutions. The research conducted was used to illustrate the problems of the legal regulation of intellectual property within such structures in Ukraine and to propose changes to current Ukrainian legislation regulating the activities of science parks. Section 1 «defines the concept and elements of the innovation infrastructure of Ukraine and the world, analyses the global experience of science parks, and identifies problems related to the functioning of such structures in Ukraine. Analysis was conducted of the organizational and legal types of business entities in current Ukrainian legislation, and it was found that the most appropriate type for a science park is a limited liability company. Analysis was conducted of the problems of the functioning of science parks. It was determined that they are both general – characteristic of all innovation activity, and specific – characteristic of science parks.
