The thesis is devoted to the issues of improving the organization of transport service while ensuring the interaction of urban passenger transport and city electric train in the junctions of the transport network in large cities on the basis of formalization of methods and means of rationalization of their interaction. To ensure interaction, determine the number and population of the city electric train, as well as the number and capacity of vehicles of different means of transport, a systematic approach was implemented to determine the rational parameters of interaction of the system "urban passenger transport - passenger transfer point - urban electric train" in large transport hubs. The components of this approach are the software implementation of the interaction model of transport means in the hub by checking the fulfillment of the necessary interaction conditions, as well as the implementation of preparatory calculations to determine the parameters of urban passenger transport and urban trains. In order to take into account the total passenger hours of waiting, a model was developed to determine the duration of waiting for passengers of the city electric train at railway "ring" stations in different service conditions. To save time at the main stages of the transport process of passengers to destinations and to reduce costs, the methods of efficient use of vehicles have been improved by applying the model of rational organization of passenger service at their transfer points and the development of passenger transfer points based on fuzzy set theory. To determine the lowest travel time for passengers from the most remote areas of the city to passenger transfer points, a flow distribution method was proposed to determine the load of the transport network, which takes into account the close connection and integration of passenger flows in urban, suburban and interurban connections. Creating conditions to accelerate the movement of passengers has determined the need for methods and patterns of factor influence on the dynamics of passenger traffic in the hubs of the transport network, using the appropriate mathematical model. The developed practical recommendations for the development of technological interaction of the components of urban passenger transport in large cities allow to reduce the cost of functioning of urban passenger transport when reaching a high level of transportation quality.
