Essay

The dissertation presents the results of treatment of patients with burn trauma and post-burn pathological scars by optimizing surgical treatment tactics and a set of treatment and prevention measures using xenodermoimplants of different thickness, the use of silicone plates and compression garments, cryodestruction with xenoimplantation, corticosteroid injections, modern laser technology and surgical treatment of scarring The effectiveness of various methods of surgical treatment of pathological scars and scar contractures, cryodestruction with xenografting in combination with corticosteroid injections, the use of compression garments and modified silicone plates and a course of procedures of laser genesis by neodymic laser at different stages of development and clinical and morphological types of scars have been studied in detail. Based on this, an algorithm for preventive, conservative and surgical treatment of patients depending on the development of post-burn fields, pathological scars and scar contractures was developed. Reduction of the patient's stay in hospital by 21.6-23.5 %, less often the formation of scars in 2 times, and 3.9 times in areas of superficial burns and donor areas, reduction of fibroblasts in connective tissue capable of intense collagen formation, reduction of inflammatory vascularization in epithelialized wounds and donor areas by 75 %, reverse development of scars in the stage of formation by 66 % and formed scars by 60 % based on a systematic approach and established algorithm for prevention and treatment of patients with scars and post-burn scarring is the basis of modern technology of highly effective treatment of patients, which allowed to achieve much better functional and aesthetic results.
