Kryvenkova R. Formation of tourist potential of Ukraine as a factor of Ukrainian society’s consolidation: public administration aspect.

In the dissertation the actual scientific task is solved, which consists in scientific substantiation of a complex of conceptual provisions and development of practical recommendations concerning the public administration of formation of tourist potential as a factor of consolidation of the Ukrainian society; the foreign experience of state management of formation of tourist potential is characterized; the priority directions of formation and the current state of development of tourist potential are determined; phases (stages) of the life cycle of tourist potential and determined the periodization of regulatory support for the formation and development of tourist potential. Conceptual provisions on public administration of tourism potential formation as a factor of consolidation of the Ukrainian society on the basis of definition of levels of formation of tourist potential are developed. There was a conceptual and categorical apparatus on the research topic improved, namely, the author's definitions of such concepts as tourist potential», «consolidation tourism», «state tourist potential», «regional tourist potential», «local tourist potential», «determinants of social consolidation». The dissertation defines the system of formation of tourist potential of Ukraine; the phases (stages) of the life cycle of the tourist potential are established, the cyclic model of the tourist potential is determined; the analysis of the basic legislative acts in the field of tourism and formation of tourist potential of Ukraine is carried out; the periodization of legislative support of formation of tourist potential of times of independent Ukraine is offered. Proposals have been made to improve public administration in the field of tourism. The current state and main problems of formation of tourist potential of Ukraine, the main aspects of activity of public administration bodies in the tourist branch are characterized. The SWOT-analysis of formation of tourist potential of Ukraine is carried out. The dissertation analyzes the governmental aspects of the formation of tourism potential of European countries (Poland, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Spain, Germany) and Japan. The peculiarities of the activity of public administration bodies in the tourism industry of these countries are established. Conceptual provisions of formation of tourist potential of Ukraine as a factor of consolidation of the Ukrainian society are developed and levels of formation of tourist potential are defined. The author's project of the Concept of formation of tourist potential of Ukraine which defines the purpose, tasks, principles, problems and specifies priority directions of formation of tourist potential as the factor of consolidation of the Ukrainian society is developed.
