Danets L. Influence of the intensity of rearing heifers on the productivity of dairy cows of domestic breeds

The presents the results of research into the intensity of the growth of repair heifers of domestic dairy breeds on their future milk production, productive longevity and life expectancy. The effective schemes of growth of live weight of heifers, which provide high-grade cows, are substantiated. The selective efficiency of selection of animals according to the parameters of the intensity of cultivation and live weight of heifers in different age periods was established. The forecast of dairy productivity, productive longevity and life expectancy in terms of the intensity of cultivation makes it possible, when implemented in practice, to plan the breeding process more precisely and carry out an effective selection on the basis of the indicated selection criteria.
