The dissertation is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the transformation of the concept of nuclear deterrence, which plays the role of a security mechanism in the Euro-Atlantic system that preserves its relevance taking into account the present-day challenges of the NPT regime and international security. The peculiarities of approaches and implementation of nuclear deterrence within the Euro-Atlantic security system are analyzed using the systems theory approach that forms the author’s model of research.
