In the dissertation the research of internal and external factors of foreign policy of the Republic of Turkey is carried out. For the first time, a comprehensive approach to the research of the essence of the interaction of external and internal factors in the foreign policy of the TR; the role of the USA, the Russian Federation, and the EU in the foreign policy of the TR was systematically analysed; common and distinctive features in the strategic interests of great powers and regional leaders involved in regional conflicts involving TR were identified; the involvement of Turkey in the Syrian war as a problem related to the TR with the Kurdish issue, and the problem of the occupied Crimea as related to the Crimean Tatar issue; the development of the modern role of TR in international relations is considere
