Omelko I. Constitutional-legal regulation of activity forms of local councilors in Ukraine.

The dissertation is devoted to the development of an integral concept of the forms of activity of deputies of local councils in Ukraine, a critical assessment of the current state of legal regulation of these forms and the identification of ways to improve it, taking into account the best foreign models and domestic experience in the development of local self-government. The work reveals the concept and provides a classification of the forms of activity of the deputies of local councils. The main stages of the evolution of legal regulation of the forms of activity of the deputies of local councils in Ukraine are determined. A review of the practice of using forms of activity of deputies of representative bodies of local self-government in foreign countries is carried out. The peculiarities of the session and non-session forms of work of the deputy of the local council in the council and its bodies have been clarified. The specificity of the individual and collective forms of the implementation by the deputies of local councils of their powers in the electoral district has been determined.
