Essay

The object of the study is determined the realization of rights and freedoms in the post-Soviet countries. The aim of the dissertation is the political and legal conceptualization of the processes of guaranteeing, realization and protection of the complex of civil and political rights and freedoms in the post-Soviet countries. There are philosophical, historical, neo-institutional, axiological approach, comparative methods. Scientific novelty is identified factors influencing the implementation, protection of civil and political rights and freedoms in the context of personalist neo-authoritarianism in Tajikistan, revealed the effects of the repressive-authoritarian regime of Turkmenistan on civil and political rights and freedoms, assessed the prospects for expanding civil and political rigths and freedoms in Armenia. The results can be used in the educational process in the preparation of lectures, textbooks in political science, training courses on human rights and post-Soviet democratic transit, as well as in the practice of civic activists and other political actors.
