Teres Y. Debt Policy and its Impact on Macroeconomic Stability in Ukraine.

The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical synthesis of scientific approaches and the formulation of practical recommendations, which consists in deepening theoretical, methodological and practical principles for improving debt policy and identifying mechanisms that promote macroeconomic stabilization taking into account the state debt policy instruments at the present stage of Ukraine's development. The paper reveals scientific approaches to the definition of the essence of public debt. The goals and macroeconomic principles of realization of the state debt policy are determined. The modern scientific and practical approaches to the implementation of debt policy in foreign countries are analyzed. The analysis of the state debt management and organizational and legal principles of debt policy in Ukraine is analyzed. An assessment of the mutual influence of the macroeconomic condition of Ukraine and the growth of debt dependence is made. The experience of realizing the debt policy in the EU countries in the context of the implementation of the provisions of the Association Agreement is researched. The problems of regulation of the state debt in Ukraine in the conditions of European integration are determined. The directions of optimization of the structure of the state debt as conditions of macroeconomic stabilization and financial security of Ukraine are outlined. The ways of realization of the debt policy in the context of realization of the priority strategy of social and economic development of Ukraine are determined.
