Essay

The dissertation theoretically substantiates and experimentally confirms the effectiveness of the introduction of a new technological elements of keeping cows and calves with manifestations of incorrect interaction (problem pairs “cow-calf”) in the colostrum period, namely correction sections and short-term 5-times feeding to increase the safety of calves from problem pairs and young animals’ productivity. It is proved that with the use of correction sections the safety of problem calves increases from 33% to 90% and 77%. When using correction sections for problem pairs, the profitability of production was 52.7% and 25.0% against the background of damage of -39.6% in the absence of correction sections.
