Methods of contextual study of Ukrainian literature in the system of elective courses in the profile school. The purpose of the study: scientifically substantiate, develop and experimentally test the effectiveness of the methodology of contextual study of works of Ukrainian literature in the system of elective courses at the profile level. Research methods: theoretical: methods of analysis and synthesis, processing and interpretation of psychological and pedagogical, literary, philosophical and cultural, methodological sources, normative documents in the field of school education to substantiate the contextual consideration concepts of Ukrainian literature works; methods of comparison, systematization and generalization for the formation of theoretical foundations and the objective state determination of the researched problem in school practice; empirical: observation of the educational process, questionnaires for teachers and students, diagnostic methods to determine the effectiveness levels of the developed methodology; pedagogical experiment to test the developed methodology effectiveness; statistical: quantitative and qualitative analysis of the obtained results of pedagogical experiment The scientific novelty of the study For the first time the essence of the phenomenon "contextual study of Ukrainian literature works in the system of elective courses in a specialized school" was determined; criteria (gnostic, operational, productive) with the corresponding indicators are revealed, the levels of formation of high school students' skills of contextual study of Ukrainian literature works in the system of elective courses (high, sufficient, average, elementary) are characterized; pedagogical conditions are defined (integration of the content and forms of literary education, contextuality; gradual formation of students' skills of contextual consideration of a literary work; creative application of traditional and innovative methods and techniques in contextual study of a work of art; partnership interaction of educational process subjects); developed a model of contextual study of Ukrainian literature works at the profile level (motivational-reproductive, constructive, creative stages); the concepts of "profile education", "profile differentiation in the system of school literary education", "context", "literary optional course" are specified; the system of work on a work of art in the classes of elective literary courses has been improved; The development issues of independent research activity among high school students in the profile education conditions, realization of culturological approach in the system of school literary education were further developed. The practical significance of the work: development and implementation of diagnostic and formative methods of contextual study of Ukrainian literature works in the system of elective courses at the profile level. The degree of implementation is high. The scope of implementation - postgraduate pedagogical education, pedagogical institutions of higher education.
