Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the effect of iodine-containing additives on the physiological indicators of dairy goats, the growth of goatlings, changes in the physicochemical, biochemical composition, technological properties of milk under the influence of potassium iodide and "Elamin", as well as on the properties of kefir made on its basis. When fed goats potassium iodide increases the digestibility of crude fat by 3.64%, and the addition of "Elamine" significantly improves the digestibility of crude protein and crude fat, respectively, by 3.93 % and 4.89 %, compared with the control. The content of this trace element in the milk of goats, when introduced to the diet of potassium iodide, increased by an average of 70 %, and with the addition of "Elamine" by 142 %. Iodine supplements cause improvement of the technological properties of goat milk.
