Fedyna V. Development of the accumulative pension system in Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to substantiation of theoretical bases of development of accumulative system of pension provision. Scientific views on the economic nature of pensions are developed. The theoretical foundations of structuring the pension system are considered. The substantive and functional characteristics of the accumulative component of the pension system as an updated paradigm of social guarantees are provided. The evolution of private pension provision in the process of reforming the pension system has been studied. The assessment of the level of pension provision of the citizens of Ukraine in the context of the influence of demographic and economic factors was carried out. The current state and efficiency of the non-state accumulative pension system in Ukraine are analyzed. The normative-legal field of formation and functioning of such system is characterized. The main guidelines of the conceptual substantiation of the development and efficiency of the pension system are determined. The directions of strengthening the interconnection between the levels of the pension system of Ukraine through the use of financial resources of the accumulative pension insurance system are proposed. Proposals have been developed for instruments to influence the state to intensify the development of the funded pension system.
