The Theses deals with the comprehensive research of theoretical and normative and legal bases, historical background, current condition and foreign experience of information activity regulation, taking into account the administrative and legal status of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The peculiarities of information activity within the administrative and legal status of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are revealed, its structural elements are defined and analyzed. The periods of development of Ukrainian AF information activity and the current state of its regulatory and legal support, are considered. The concept, essence and features of the administrative and legal status of the AF of Ukraine as a subject of information activity are defined.
