Kulbatsky A. Improvement of navigation efficiency on the waterways of Ukraine with the use of modern information technologies

Analytical expressions formalizing compliance with the requirements for fairway dimensions, ship measurements and accuracy of control of the ship’s position are given in the dissertation research. Analytical expressions of assessment criteria of accuracy of safe navigation in congested waters have been obtained. The procedure of estimating the value of information error in fairway dimensions depending on dynamic model of the ship motion prediction has been suggested. The issue of considering the effect of water level prediction accuracy on safe navigation have been addressed. The improved method of safe navigation assessment by choosing the best possible way of route planning and using the ways of high-accuracy control taking in to account information errors has been suggested. The results of simulation modelling of safe navigation assessment according to the planned route on the waterways in congested waterstaking into account information technologies.
