Essay

Object - traumatic brain injury in the acute period and the impact on its course of activation and blockade of the central cholinergic systems; the aim is to establish the influence of the central cholinergic systems on the course of the acute period of craniocerebral trauma and to substantiate the directions of its pathogenetic correction; methods - pathophysiological, functional, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, pathomorphological, immunohistochemical, statistical; results - found that the increase in CNS cholinoreactivity due to the introduction of choline alfoscerate to injury prevented mortality in the acute period of traumatic brain injury, prevented the growth of neurological deficits, led to the formation of hyperdynamic type of cardiohemodynamics, prevented post-traumatic coagulation and pituitary-thyroid system, prevented morphological damage and metabolic disorders of the cerebral cortex. Decreased cholinoreactivity due to the introduction of biperiden hydrochloride to injury led to a significant increase in neurological deficit, the development of hypodynamic type of cardiohemodnamics, inhibition of the posttraumatic reaction of the pituitary-corticoadrenal system and the development of profound hypothyroidism and neurohypothyroidism.
