Essay

On the basis of a complex of hygienic, clinical, hematological and biochemical studies, study of the composition of feeding rations, determination of ethological characteristics, intensity of weight and linear growth of young goats, productive and reproductive characteristics of broodstock of goats, an effective system of raising goats with a dairy direction of productivity has been experimentally proved. Based on the results of the research, it was substantiated the expediency of artificial rearing of young Saanen goats by the method of group feeding, which provides a decrease in feed costs per 1 kg of gain by 9.4 %, reducing the cost of production by 10.1 % and profitability of goat production at the level of 50.4 %.
