Essay

The essence of the concept of "meat market", its economic meaning, features of functioning and the concept of development are substantiated and revealed. In particular, under which we consider a multifunctional market system of socio-economic relations between different market participants in the direct interaction of state management methods and market regulatory mechanisms, which ensures the implementation of sectoral and market processes - animal and poultry production, production, processing, promotion, storage, sale and meat consumption, intensifying the increase in the supply of quality raw meat and demand for it. Systematized signs and indicators of efficiency of meat market development, proposed constituent factors that determine the level of its functioning and development, classifying them into social, economic, environmental, technological, natural, institutional and legal, and among the most significant price, level income, state support, institutional and legal support, as basic determinants of the formation of the domestic meat market.
