The dissertation is devoted to the research of theoretical, methodical bases and development of practical recommendations on the increase of efficiency of the process of management of business processes of the enterprises of retail trade. The definition of the concept of "business process of a retail enterprise" has been improved. New properties of business processes are offered. New classification features and types of business processes of retail enterprises have been introduced. The conceptual and categorical apparatus of management theory and the concept of business process management of retail enterprises, based on the process-architectural approach, have been clarified. The methodical approach to estimating the efficiency of business processes of retail enterprises has been improved and the indicators of business processes, their results, and customer satisfaction have been systematized. Regularities of functioning of retail trade enterprises are revealed. The analysis of business processes and an estimation of efficiency of management of business processes of the enterprises of retail trade is executed. A methodical approach to economic and mathematical modeling of business processes of retail enterprises is proposed. The scientific approach to the formation of tools of increase of efficiency of management of business processes of the enterprises of retail trade is proved. Methodical approaches to the choice of business process management strategies for retail enterprises have been developed.
