The dissertation is devoted to a complex study of the constitutional and legal regulation of the autonomy of Podkarpatska Rus in 1919–1938. Determined the specifics of the state and legal status of Podkarpatska Rus in the decisions of the Ruthenian Soviets of 1918-1919, covered the issue of statehood and law of Podkarpatska Rus at the Paris (Versailles) Peace Conference (1919-1920). The author's analysis of the legal basis of the organization and activity of the civil administration and military administration on the territory of Podkarpatska Rus is carried out; the question of approving the constitution of Czechoslovakia in 1920 and the evolution of the constitutional and legal status of Podkarpatska Rus as part of the republic are studied The role and place of political parties in the formation of the system of administrative management in Podkarpatska Rus is studied; the author draws attention to the legal basis of the organization and activities of the regional administration of Podkarpatska Rus; the specifics of the political crisis of the Versailles system in Europe and its influence on the state and legal position of Podkarpatska Rus are studied.
