Essay

In the dissertation we made a comparative analysis of disorders that occur in the dynamics of the acute period and the period of early manifestations of traumatic disease after modeling cranioskeletal trauma and trauma complicated by acute blood loss in rats with different resistance to hypoxia and proving the effectiveness of thiocetam in correction of the identified disorders. In response to cranioskeletal trauma in the acute period and the period of early manifestations of traumatic disease (after 1, 3 and 7 days of post-traumatic period) compared with control group results, in the liver was noted an increase in the intensity of lipid peroxidation, decreased activity of the enzymatic link of antioxidant protection, activation of cytolysis and endotoxicosis processes, decreased level of indicators of bile-forming and biliary excretory functions of the liver, the increase of vascular and dystrophic-necrotic disorders in liver tissues, which are exacerbated after acute blood loss and are greater in rats with low-resistance to hypoxia. Using thiocetam during seven days is accompanied by a pronounced positive effect on the antioxidant-prooxidant balance of the liver, cytolysis and endogenous intoxication indicators, increases the content of total bile acids and conjugated bilirubin in the bile, increases the rate of excretion of bile and its components in groups of rats with high- and low-resistancy to hypoxia, reduces dystrophic manifestations of the liver. The growth rate of some of the studied indicators is significantly higher in the group of low-resistance to hypoxia rats under conditions of additional acute blood loss.
